Next step for Shoe-D-Vision is web based workflow

Shoe-D-Vision, a retail chain of almost 300 shoe stores throughout Denmark  and Norway have signed a contract to implement MultiArchive web based workflow.

Details:

Shoe-D-Vision is managing the purchase and sale of more than four million pairs of shoe, equal to a turn over of 200 million euros, through its 300 stores with a total staff in excess of 1.500 in two countries.

With an operation like this, efficiency in all processes is a key to success, and therefore Shoe-D-Vision implemented MultiArchive for handling the many invoices for shoes several years ago.

Now the time has come where the process of approving cost invoices is to be automated, right from the preregistretion of invoice data, to distributed approval and booking the cost to the right accounts - and once again Shoe-D-Vision chose MultiArchive.

"The only logical next step for us was to move forward with the web based MultiArchive Workflow" - IT Manager Asger Simonsen

The web based workflow is to be integrated 100% with the business application "Alligator" used by Shoe-D-Vision, allowing anyone authorized to access and approve their supplier invoices from anywhere at any time, making the process much easier and flexible. At the same time Shoe-D-Vision will appreciate the improved security including a complete electronic audit trail.
