MultiArchive 1.6.0-009, dump with MAFHPTRA

An internal error causes a dump in program MAFHPTRA when using API RTVMAITM to retrieve items of origin *RPT (spool files)

A dump in MAFHPTRA also occurs when displaying items of origin *RPT through the browser.

Details:

This error occurs with MultiArchive update level 1.6.0-008 and 1.6.0-009 only.

Note: The error does NOT occur if the item type is defined to use InterForm to handle print.

Customers affected:

• Customers using API RTVMAITM to retrieve *RPT items
• Customers displaying spooled files from the browser client

Installing patch

The following patch

To install the supplied patch, use the following procedure:

1. Download attached file to the ifs filesystem on the System i running MultiArchive. (Right click and select "Save to disk")
   In the following we'll assume download to /tmp.
   
   
2. Create savefile to receive the hotfix:
   
   CRTSAVF QTEMP/MA160009
   
   
3. Copy patch to savefile:
   
   CPYFRMSTMF FROMSTMF('/TMP/MA160009.SAVF')           
              TOMBR('/QSYS.LIB/QTEMP.LIB/MA160009.FILE')
              MBROPT(*REPLACE)
   
   
4. Restore patch objects:
   
   RSTOBJ OBJ(*ALL)          
          SAVLIB(MLTARC400)  
          DEV(*SAVF)         
          SAVF(QTEMP/MA160009)
