Veho Group with new corporate archive solution from Multi-Support

Finland's largest in the automotive business, Veho Group, have ordered an IBM System i server, an optical library and MultiArchive software to establish a complete corporate electronic document archive for the group.

Established in 1939 Veho Group has grown to become the largest player in the vehicle business sector in Finland importing major brands as Mercedes, Citroën, and Mitsubishi, while dealing also in Ford, Honda and Skoda cars, not only in Finland but also in the Baltics and from the beginning of June 2007 in Stockholm Sweden.

The Veho Group consists of ten companies having over 2000 employees with 1.1 billion annual turnover.

The industry is known for it low margins and equally high demands for efficiency, in order to stay profitable. One of the measures for Veho Group to increase efficiency and profitability is optimizing document based work processes, including workflow for supplier invoices, and now most recently a shared corporate document archive, capable of serving all companies and all business applications on whatever platform they may be.

The solution is implemented by Multi-Support Finland.
