Polo Ralph Lauren takes MultiArchive to Hong Kong in style
The world famous fashion group Polo Ralph Lauren has successfully been using MultiArchive across Europe for the past 5 years. They have now decided to take the action to Hong Kong and Singapore, and - as always with Polo Ralph Lauren - in style.
Details:
Polo Ralph Lauren is one of world's premier brands and has been so for forty years now.
With approximately 300 stores stretching from Buenos Aires to Beverly Hills to Paris, and license holders in Asia, Polo Ralph Lauren has truly become a worldwide player with an annual net revenue of 5.5 billion US$.
Polo Ralph Lauren has successfully been using their IDM solution based on MultiArchive all over Europe for many years.
This usage has now been expanded to operations in the far east, namely Singapore and Hong Kong where almost 1.8 million documents will be scanned and archived annually. Not only will this lead to huge savings of time and money by not handling these 1.8 million documents, but this information will be available at everyone's fingertips when these documents are stored electronically in Polo Ralph Lauren's corporate business archive - a corporate business archive that, by the way, is located on a server in the US.
A true 25/7 solution.
This latest move confirms that Polo Ralph Lauren made the right choice some years back when they chose to go with the IDM (Intelligent Document Management) concept instead of some non integrated isolated solution. "At the same time we see this as a re-affirmation of the support as well as the back up that Multi-Support UK provides to Polo sites worldwide" says Jay Naidoo, the MD of Multi-Support UK, the company that is responsible for co-ordinating all efforts within the Multi-Support Group to help Polo achieve their IDM objectives.
