Kerrygold, Ireland's most well-known international food brand, has an appetite for MultiArchive

Kerrygold have recently signed a major contract with Multi-Support to provide a comprehensive invoice processing solution for its Movex business application.

Kerrygold is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Irish Dairy Board and is one of the UK leaders in pre-packed and processed cheese as well as acting as the UK marketing division for the Irish Dairy Board.

Today Kerrygold is Ireland’s only internationally known food brand, marketed in over 80 countries worldwide. The UK business has a turnover of £200 million and employs over 500 people at its modern headquarters in Leek, Staffordshire.

Kerrygold is a long time Movex user with almost all modules in place(manufacturing, purchasing, planning, sales, inventory, warehousing, quality & finance) for many users.

The initial requirement of Kerrygold was for an efficient invoice processing solution with a proven track record, with seamless integration to the Movex application. "Out of the three short-listed solutions we chose the Multi-Support offering, because it provides us with the most significant administration benefits" says David Neill, IT manager at Kerrygold. David continues "Also the solution infrastructure was a good fit for the Irish Dairy Board Group of companies (which includes Kerrygold) as all the group companies utilize the same central server to host Movex. Therefore the centrally situated MultiArchive solution could be cost effectively made available to other Group companies."

The solution chosen by Kerrygold is based on Multi-Supports IDM (Intelligent document Management) concept, integrating scanning and interpretation technology from Readsoft. This will provide automatic three way matching in Movex together with a full browser based workflow process for exception handling.

Basing the solution on the IDM concept allows Kerrygold to grow from "simple invoice processing" into a complete enterprise document management as well as business processing scenario. Step by step, with no limitations, and no unnecessary investments.

The implementation will be done in close co-operation between Multi-Support, Movex specialists Merit, and ReadSoft.
