"A solution much better than we could have hoped for"

The Norwegian do-it-yourself (DIY) market Byggmakker Zeiner has cut staff costs, increased precision, and reduced storage space within less than a year – all thanks to MultiArchive.

Byggmakker Zeiner is a part of the Byggmakker group, Norway’s largest and only nationwide chain of DIY markets. The group has about 120 stores in Norway and supplies to both individuals and professionals. Zeiner is located in Tønsberg and Holmestrand and has more than 100 employees.

Before the implementation of MultiArchive, Zeiner produced in excess of 40 000 invoice copies on paper each year. Norwegian companies are obliged by law to store this kind of information for a minimum of ten years which leads to huge paper based archives over time. Today, these physical archives are all history!

Instead of handling and filing paper documents manually; all printouts, vouchers, outgoing invoices etc. are now filed electronically in MultiArchive. In addition to saving time, storage space and money, MultiArchive helps Zeiner render good customer service because all documents are now easily retrieved in just a few clicks - a fact that also improves job satisfaction among Zeiner employees.

“The less paper, the better overview we have during a working day”, states Inger Britt Zeiner. As CFO, it is important that I have an easy and up-to-date overview of all bookkeeping and accounting. Previously I and my colleagues had to search for documents in endless rows of filing cabinets.
