IBM ITS identifies MultiArchive as the strategic solution for Berner’s SAP environment

A recent study performed by IBM Integrated Technology Services concluded that MultiArchive is the best strategic option for the future document processing infrastructure at Berner Group.

Details

Berner Group is a Finnish family company that operates on an international scale. Berner is an up-to-date, versatile expert in marketing and sales. Berner’s main office, product development, and production facilities are based in Finland. In other countries, customers are served by local subsidiaries. The annual turnover is in excess of 270 Mio Euro.

One of the core values at Berner is that “All work done in the company must be valuable, meaningful, and productive”. This leads to a constant focus on optimizing business processes, both in and around the SAP solution now implemented at Berner.

Recently, Berner Group engaged with IBM Integrated Technology Services in order to develop a document processing strategy and roadmap, to make sure that the company’s document processing infrastructure would support the future needs.

The IBM Strategy Consultants concluded that for the Berner Group, the optimum strategy to meet existing and future requirements from SAP document archiving to processing of pc documents, would be to stay with, and expand the use of the MultiArchive solution ready in place.

“Of course we are pleased to be confirmed in the wisdom in our original choice of MultiArchive, but much more importantly, we now have a rock solid strategy for the future“, says Timo Pohjalainen, IT Manager at Berner Group.

“We are not surprised, but still a little proud, that the strategy consultants from IBM ITS pointed so clearly in our direction” states Jarmo Hakanen from Multi-Support Finland.
