Husqvarna Group takes another big step with Multi-Support

Husqvarna Group has signed another major contract with Multi-Support. This time for a complete supplier invoice processing solution.

Details:

Earlier this year, the world's largest producer of chainsaws, lawn mowers and other petrol-powered garden equipment, chose to implement a generic document management infrastructure based on MultiArchive technology.

Since the order was placed we have successfully implemented electronic forms management and archiving in Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, and Switzerland with many more to follow.

The experience from this project in conjunction with an unprecedented price/performance level offered with the MultiArchive Supplier Invoice Processing, convinced Husqvarna to place the order for a complete supplier invoice processing solution with us as well. During the evaluation phase the MultiArchive offering was compared to several other local and international competitors.

Besides a proven track record with international implementations, and an extraordinary price/performance level, Husqvarna was especially impressed with the variety of features offered by the solution and equally important with the ease of deployment made possible by the browser based architecture of the solution. With more than 700 users in Sweden alone – and many thousands in the rest of the world – ease of use and ease of deployment is essential.

The project starting in Sweden includes the interpretation of 100.000 scanned invoices using ReadSoft Documents for Invoices, extracting not only document information but also individual line items.

The entire project will yield significant savings for Husqvarna, and is expected to show a pay back period of months not years.

"I am so proud that Husqvarna has chosen to partner up with us for this new business critical solution only a few months after dealing with us for the first time. This is an important deal for Multi-Support documenting once again the fact that we are a major player in this area." says Susanna Udvardi MD of Multi-Support Sweden, who is responsible for the Husqvarna Group.
